Notes
'Zounds' hosta (Hosta 'Zounds') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 30 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches wide. White, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
Pairs well with Blue wood aster, Fernleaf peony, and Autumn crocus.
