Notes
'Abalone Pearl' peony (Paeonia 'Abalone Pearl') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its huge, fragrant, single flowers are bright coral-pink, and butterflies and bees visit them. William Henry Krekler bred it.
Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Stargazer lily.
