Notes

'Addie Tischler' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Addie Tischler') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 30 inches tall on thick, straight stems that hold up the heavy flowers. The double blush blooms measure 6 to 7 inches across and open late in the season. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Compass plant, Japanese spirea, and Black Hero tulip.
