Notes

'Admiral Schley' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Admiral Schley') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. In early summer, it bears double flowers in rich crimson. The blooms make a bold color accent in the garden and look good in a vase. H.A. Terry bred it.

Pairs well with Gooseneck loosestrife, Dalmatian bellflower, and Japanese spirea.
