Notes

'Aegean' peony (Paeonia 'Aegean') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its large, ruffled, semi-double flowers open light pink and fade to white. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Nate Bremer bred it, and the woody stems hold the blooms up well.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Clustered bellflower, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
