Notes

'Akatsukino-yuki' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Akatsukino-yuki') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Oberlin bred it in 1938. The flowers make a fine show in the garden and in a vase.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Christmas fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
