Notes

'Anabel' lilac (Syringa hyacinthiflora 'Anabel') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring with fragrant flowers. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
