Notes

'Angelic Red' peony (Paeonia 'Angelic Red') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its dark raspberry red flowers are semi-double to double and face upward. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Butterflies and bees visit the upright plants, which need no support.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Dancing Queen hosta, and Miss Kim lilac.
