Notes

'Angelica' peony (Paeonia 'Angelica') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, tall goblet blooms open pale green and white with pale lemon yellow stamens, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Dittany, Polish Spirit clematis, and Pink Impression tulip.
