Notes

'Annisquam' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Annisquam') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flower gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, fragrant, double pink blooms open in mid to late spring and early summer. The petals are broad and rounded, and the tender pink color holds until the petals fall. David C. Stranger bred it.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Miss Kim lilac, Tall fescue, and Black Hero tulip.
