Notes

'Argenteovariegata' common periwinkle (Vinca minor 'Argenteovariegata') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stays evergreen, so it fills a bed with low, spreading growth. Violet blue flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper, Prairie dropseed, and Rose Glow Japanese barberry.
