Notes

'Bowles' common periwinkle (Vinca minor 'Bowles') is a perennial for ground cover, low maintenance beds, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. This evergreen grows fast and spreads 12 to 24 inches, so give it room. It tolerates drought and salt, and butterflies visit it.

Pairs well with Mountain laurel, Black Parrot tulip, and White spruce.
