Notes
'Auten’s Pride' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Auten’s Pride') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double flowers are light pink with flesh and lavender shades. They bloom in late spring and smell like roses. Stiff stems hold the blooms just above medium height.
Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Ostrich fern, Scentara Double Blue lilac, and Black Hero tulip.
