Notes

'Autumn Surprise' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Autumn Surprise') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It forms a clump and blooms in early to late spring. The small spikes carry fragrant, pale pink flowers that bees visit.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Blue grama.
