Notes

'Babylon' montbretia (Crocosmia crocosmiiflora 'Babylon') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Tubular flowers open on tall spikes above dark green, lance-shaped leaves, and hummingbirds like them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Van Dijk bred it.

Pairs well with Cardinal flower, Silver feather grass, and Yarrow.
