Notes

'Ballet de Coppelia' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ballet de Coppelia') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its pale pink single flowers have narrow pink flares that reach past the middle of each petal. The blooms have no fragrance. The tall, strong plant carries plenty of green foliage tinted purple.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Star magnolia, Ostrich fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
