Notes

'Ballista' peony (Paeonia 'Ballista') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink double flowers fade to cream at the ruffled edges and are fragrant. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Blanket flower, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
