Notes

'Ban Lan' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ban Lan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light rose-pink double flowers open in mid to late spring and have a high degree of fragrance. Darker rose spots speckle the petals and give the blooms depth. The upright stems reach about 26 inches and need no support.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Picture tulip, and Ageratum.
