Notes

'Bar Harbor' creeping juniper (Juniperus horizontalis 'Bar Harbor') is a groundcover for rock gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It stays 9 to 12 inches tall and spreads 60 to 72 inches, so give it room. The evergreen foliage tolerates drought and salt. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Maiden pink, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Mount Hood daffodil.
