Notes

'Batlad' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Batlad') is a shrub for borders, hedges, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer with fragrant flowers that attract butterflies and bees. The evergreen foliage stays on the plant through winter, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Purple Coneflower coneflower, Ornamental onion, and Japanese forest grass.
