Notes
'Sweet Romance' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Sweet Romance') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Purple, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. The plant is evergreen and drought tolerant, and it grows in a broad mound up to 36 inches tall.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Stargazer lily.
