Notes
'Baya Marisa' apple (Malus domestica 'Baya Marisa') is a tree for food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Crimson flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. The apples have red flesh, and the tree is a heavy cropper. Thin the fruitlets in late spring, and plant a second apple nearby for pollination.
Pairs well with Rhubarb, Weigela, and Black Parrot tulip.
