Notes

Beach morning glory (Ipomoea imperati) is a vine for ground cover, accent, and pollinator garden use. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy soil. It is evergreen, and it tolerates drought and salt. White flowers with yellow centers open in summer and again in autumn, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Give it plenty of room, because it spreads far along the ground.

Pairs well with Sea ox-eye, Deergrass, and Coco plum.
