Notes

Cypress vine (Ipomoea quamoclit) is an annual climber for pollinator gardens and low maintenance color. It is typically grown as an annual. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Red flowers open on fast-growing green vines, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Cup and saucer vine, California Giants zinnia, and Luscious Berry Blend lantana.
