Notes

'Beautiful Lady' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Beautiful Lady') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its palest pink flowers have center flares and immense double, fringed petals. The plant blooms freely and has strong stems. Louis Smirnow bred it as a seedling of 'Hanakisoi'.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Blue fescue, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Little Lime panicle hydrangea.
