Notes

'Beauty’s Mask' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Beauty’s Mask') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, violet-rose flowers are large and open in late spring. Hollis bred it in 1904. The tall, erect stems carry buds in clusters.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Sedge, Black Hero tulip, and Aromatic aster.
