Notes

'Best Song' peony (Paeonia 'Best Song') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early blooming single flowers are blush pink and fragrant, and bees love the dense pom-pom of stamens that gives the plant its name. Stiff stems need no support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Baby's breath, and Carlton daffodil.
