Notes

'Bestseller' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Bestseller') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows about 10 inches tall in a clumping habit. Light red-pink, fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Autumn Frost hosta, and Blue fescue.
