Notes

'Beth Erickson' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Beth Erickson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows about 30 inches tall and has good foliage. The Japanese type blooms are pink with lavender shading, and they have a fine lacy center. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Compass plant, Spanish bluebell, Sedge, and Blue sage.
