Notes

'Betty Jandura' peony (Paeonia 'Betty Jandura') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It grows into a large mound with fragrant, ruffled, rose-red blooms in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Zlata Jennie Draskovich bred it, and it first bloomed in 1992.

Pairs well with Niobe clematis, Greig's tulip, and Maltese cross.
