Notes

'Big Time Blue' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Big Time Blue') is a perennial for borders, edging, and fragrant plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Large, purplish blue flowers sit on fat spikes above grey-green foliage. It starts blooming early and keeps going from early to late summer. Shear it lightly in early spring and again after flowering to keep it tidy.

Pairs well with Star of persia, Autumn moor grass, and Elfin mother of thyme.
