Notes
'Birželio Pūga' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Birželio Pūga') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant white double flowers open outward and measure about 7 inches across. Stems carry four to five blooms, so give the upright plants support. New foliage emerges dark red.
Pairs well with Brown-eyed Susan, Ostrich fern, and Black Hero tulip.
