Notes
'Black Mission' fig (Ficus carica 'Black Mission') is a fruit tree grown for fresh eating, preserves, and drying. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun, so give it the hottest, sunniest spot you have. The large fruit has purplish-black skin and strawberry-colored flesh. It sets fruit without a second tree and gives an early breba crop and a heavy main crop.
Pairs well with Asiatic jasmine, Tuberose, and Ruby rose.
