Notes

'Blanche King' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Blanche King') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double blooms are large and globular, with overlapping petals in glistening dark pink with a silvery sheen. Strong stems hold the flowers upright. Archie M. Brand bred it.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Ostrich fern, and Rose.
