Notes
'Blitz Tort' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Blitz Tort') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. White blossoms vary within the bush from single to semi-double, and the fluted petals show occasional red streaks. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and the blooms open in early summer with a slight fragrance.
Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Tall fescue, Black Hero tulip, and Rose.
