Notes
'Bloomin Artz' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Bloomin Artz') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in early to mid spring with semi-double, medium pink flowers that have a flat form. The petals are shorter in the center, which gives each bloom a different look. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2002.
Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Flowering quince, Pink Impression tulip, and Blue-eyed grass.
