Notes

'Blue Beauty' iris (Iris 'Blue Beauty') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The standards are dauphin's violet, and the falls are veined violet on a gentian blue ground. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Each fall carries an aureolin blotch on a primrose yellow ground.
