Notes

'Beverly Sills' iris (Iris 'Beverly Sills') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It bears Flamingo Pink blooms in spring and again in summer, and the flowers attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It stands 30 to 36 inches tall and is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Claire de Lune peony, August Moon hosta, and Little Hottie panicle hydrangea.
