Notes

'Autumn Tryst' iris (Iris 'Autumn Tryst') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The white blooms have rosy-lavender edges and a sweet scent. It flowers in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies visit it.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Claire de Lune peony, Bridal Crown daffodil, and Little Hottie panicle hydrangea.
