Notes

'Blue Heaven' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Blue Heaven') is a perennial for borders, containers, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the summer blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The plant stays evergreen and tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Tawny King red-hot poker, Coneflower, and Stonecrop.
