Notes

'Blue Mammoth' hosta (Hosta 'Blue Mammoth') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 36 to 48 inches. White to pale lavender, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.

Pairs well with White phlox, Little Hottie panicle hydrangea, Sorbet peony, and Ice Follies daffodil.
