Notes

'Blue Peter' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Blue Peter') is an evergreen shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Give it a spot with some shelter so it can show off its spring flowers.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Coral bells, and Fringed bleeding heart.
