Notes

'Blue Tit' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Blue Tit') is an evergreen shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Give it acidic soil.

Pairs well with Mountain laurel, Redvein enkianthus, Columbine, and Lady fern.
