Notes

'Blue Umbrellas' hosta (Hosta 'Blue Umbrellas') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It bears almost white flowers with a lavender tinge from early to late summer. The blooms are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

Pairs well with Sorbet peony, Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, and Autumn crocus.
