Notes

'Bodmeri' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Bodmeri') is a tree for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense, fragrant evergreen that reaches 72 to 96 inches tall. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Birds also visit it.

Pairs well with Berry Poppins winterberry, Brown-eyed Susan, and Sedge.
