Notes
Bog blueberry (Vaccinium uliginosum) is a shrub for food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet soil. Pink bell-shaped flowers open in spring and early summer. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and birds come for the dark blue berries. The plant is grown for fresh berries, jams, jellies, pies, and liqueurs.
Pairs well with Sweetgale, Blue bead lily, American arborvitae, and Rush.
