Notes

'Bokuryo' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Bokuryo') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its crimson blooms add deep color to a sunny border and look rich in a vase. Henry & Lee introduced it in 1926.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Mountain laurel, Pink Impression tulip, and Christmas fern.
