Notes
'Bonnie Becker' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bonnie Becker') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, medium pink blooms are a large rose type with deeper pink in the center. Strong stems of medium height hold them up, and it blooms late. Hans Peter Sass bred it.
Pairs well with Sensation lilac, Ostrich fern, Picture tulip, and Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea.
