Notes

'Bonnie Jean' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bonnie Jean') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double light pink flowers show stamens in the center and fade to blush. The stems are strong and the plant stands tall. Gilbert S. Richmond bred it in 1955.

Pairs well with Maidenhair tree, Sensation lilac, Christmas fern, and Picture tulip.
