Notes
'Botex 09' 09 butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Botex 09') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its arching stems carry fragrant blooms from early to late summer, and it grows fast. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Black Baccara rose, and Casa Blanca lily.
